We are delighted to welcome back to the Gallery, East Lothian artist, Ged Lerpinière. Ged is our featured artist in the Gallery for his December Exhibition, “Changes“.
Join Ged on the evening of Friday 1st December 2017 when we will be opening his exhibition of over 30 paintings. Paintings include impressionistic scenes of East Lothian throughout the year – a painting for every month (the one below is for March) and a calendar of all 12 images.
We’d love to see you for a glass of wine as you enjoy Ged’s new works. The Opening Night is Friday 1st December, 7-9pm. Entry is free and all are welcome.
Ged’s exhibition will then run in the Gallery at Hangar Art & Framing, Fenton Barns, EH39 5BW from 2nd -23rd December
The title of the exhibition, relates to the many personal changes that have happened in the last year and of course the passing of the year, the months and the seasons. There have been changes to my painting as well and I am exhibiting some new ideas here.
There are a number of abstract paintings and ‘Tactiles’, which are essentially mixed media abstract paintings with ceramic tiles as the support.
My focus is as ever mostly the East Lothian and Edinburgh Landscape that I inhabit everyday looking for new angles.
